What does “You have exceeded the posting volume limit for this account” on Craigslist mean?

Recently we have heard people getting the error “You have exceeded the posting volume limit for this account” on Craigslist.org when posting in the Service section. Craiglist does not disclose what your posting volume is or what exactly this means for each category. Have you had a similar experience on Craigslist?
It appears Craigslist is limiting 3 posts in the same category within a 48 hour period.

Craigslist New Phone Verification hits ALL Service categories

It appears Craigslist.org is making phone verification mandatory for posting ads in all “Service” categories now. This will be a huge blow for all the Craigslist.org marketers who have received the majority of their income by posting multiple ads on Craigslist.
The phone verification process is fairly straight forward:
Your account needs to be authenticated by phone to post to creative services
We need you to provide a valid, working phone number so that we can verify your account.
To help enforce our terms of use, craigslist requires an account verified by phone for posting in certain categories. Terms of use violations will be subject to account suspension and blacklisting of the phone number used to verify the account.
Shortly after entering your phone number below, you will receive an automated phone call during which an authorization code will be provided to you.
After i entered my phone number i received an automated phone call in about 15 seconds. Here is the recording of it:

eBay drops 3rd party affiliate partner ValueClick

In a blow to ValueClick and its Commission Junction affiliate network, eBay has decided to manage its mammoth affiliate marketing program in-house.
eBay’s new affiliate program will be called “eBay Partner Network”, officially launching April 1st 2008, and initial server some 100,000 individuals.
“The new eBay Partner Network will allow us to have a direct relationship with our affiliates, innovate faster and deliver new products and tools in a more timely and efficient manner, providing new revenue opportunities for our affiliates and creating a more streamlined user experience for our buyers and sellers.”
